Mu Gua = "Tree Melon" (it is Chinese Quince / Papaya)
Sour and Warm
Spleen and Liver
I'm needing a friendly, easy herb about now. Countdown to the test is 3 hours and I have eleven herbs to go! Plus review! Actually 12 herbs, including Mu Gua. It is a pretty easy one, and it is pretty too. Kind of a rich brown with an orange tint. It looks like it would be sour and warm. It has only two words in its name that translated describe it directly.
Mu Gua is good for injuries, especially with severe cramping pain and weakness in the lower back and extremities. Nice.
Mu Gua harmonizes the stomach, transforms damp there, reduces food stagnation and indigestion.
There. Simple. Mu Gua. Low body joint pain. Stomach damp and upset.
