Expel Wind Damp: Du Huo

Du Huo = "self reliant existence" WARM

I'm short on time. I took some breaks over the last couple of weeks instead of studying. I'm going to pretty much Cliff Note this group of herbs, cross my fingers, and hope for the best.

Du Huo looks like a lovely bark with character. On the pale side of the color spectrum. It's part of the angelica group of herbs.

It goes to the UB and KD. Is Warm, bitter, and spicy. Maybe can be rhymed with pee hole as a reminder that it works primarily in the lower burner / water channels.

Its main functions:

Wind damp / pain in loins and legs; low back pain

KEY: Releases the exterior! (Through the pee hole?) Wind-Cold-Damp symptoms (chills, h/a, no sweat, bronchitis)

Shaoyin headache (lesser yin stage headache and toothache)- pain to cheeks and teeth, empty feeling in the head
