Expel Wind Damp: Hai Tong Pi

Hai = Sea
Tong = Tree
Pi = Bark

海桐皮

Spleen, Liver, Kidney
Bitter, Spicy
NEUTRAL

This tree grows near the ocean in Southern China. I like it already. It is the color of chocolate.

For Wind-Damp cold or heat. Unblocks channels and collaterals. Takes care of spasms. Promotes urination and reduces edema (something to do with growing by the sea?).
Above: She was at the ocean, had scabies and wind-damp blocked channels, so she ate some Hai Tong Pi, which was growing there oceanside, and then had to pee.

Treats itching skin lesions like scabies (take a swim and then go rub your scabbied skin on its bark? yuck, I know.).

And you can gargle with it when you have a toothache. I recommend concocting it in water before you try to gargle with it.

Hai Tong Pi - So pretty!
